Ana is a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in the psychological and clinical intervention of children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health difficulties such as anxiety disorders, OCD, depression, self-harming behaviour and suicidality. She also specializes in assessing and supporting neurodevelopmental disorders in young people, including ADHD and autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
With a deep passion for working with young people and their families, Ana adopts a client-centred approach to therapy, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual. Her work is grounded in the latest evidence-based research, ensuring that her interventions are both effective and scientifically informed. Ana uses a variety of clinical approaches including CBT, interpersonal therapy and solution focused strategies.
Ana is an international psychologist who has worked in Madrid (Spain) and London (United Kingdom). Ana worked as a clinical psychologist for over 7 years in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in the UK (CAMHS), providing assessments and clinical interventions to children and young people struggling with severe mental health difficulties. She also worked in private settings delivering clinical interventions and neurodevelopmental assessments.
Ana holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology, which she completed in Spain, and is currently registered as a clinical psychologist in the UK. She is also in the process of completing her registration in Ontario, Canada. With a deep commitment to improving the lives of children and adolescents, Ana continuously strives to provide compassionate, effective care that supports both emotional well-being and developmental growth.
