Doug Grundman is a teacher and executive function coach. With his warm, engaging interpersonal style and commitment to nurturing the whole student, Doug builds a quick connection with his client. He meets each child and teen where they are at, helping them to set and work towards incremental and attainable goals. Doug understands that achievement, be it social or academic, begins with a better understanding of ourselves. 

In addition to working at Red Oak, Doug’s ongoing community outreach with youth-at-risk and marginalized groups in our community speaks to his desire to help others find their way. Doug also volunteers his time facilitating a program that creates a safe space for students to gather in a respectful and confidential setting to share their daily life stresses.

Doug previously taught at the York Region District School Board. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree at York where he majored in psychology. He received his Masters of Education at Canisius College.
