Ashlea Mohos is an educational consultant, executive function coach, and special education specialist dedicated to supporting students and families in finding the right educational fit and fostering academic success.
As an educational consultant, Ashlea helps families navigate school choices in Ontario, with a focus on the GTA. She provides insights into public, private, and independent schools, offering nuanced details about each institution’s unique strengths and student experience. Taking the time to understand a student’s learning profile, family values, and past educational experiences, she makes personalized school recommendations and guides families through the application and admissions process.
As a special education specialist and executive function coach, Ashlea empowers students to develop essential academic and executive function skills while supporting their social-emotional well-being. Using a compassionate, strength-based approach, she creates tailored learning plans that align with each student’s unique needs and abilities. She helps students understand their learning profiles, build self-advocacy skills, and cultivate independence and accountability. At the heart of her work is a deep commitment to fostering strong, collaborative relationships with students and their families. Ashlea works with students in middle school, high school, and university.
Ashlea’s background includes teaching at The Mabin School, where she supported students as a learning strategies teacher and assisted families with school selection. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto (OISE). She has also completed coaching training for educators through Graydin.
